CV Steak's centerpiece is a wine rack that graces the center back wall. Recessed areas above each booth showcase black and white photos that recount the history of Minden and Gardnerville and were hand-selected by architect and designer Larry Henry, for their historic significance. The photos are a perfect complement to the Arts and Crafts motif that ties all elements of Carson Valley Inn together, and ambient lighting creates a feeling of intimacy.

The CV Steak menu features a selection of appetizers and a generous range of entrees including pasta dishes, fish and chicken and, of course, a number of featured meat specialties. Most entrees are in the $16 –to $24 price range and each entree comes with salad, vegetable and your choice of potato - baked, au gratin or a one pound, twice-baked potato. The perfect finish is one of the six desserts offered nightly.

CV Steak offers 25 different wines, all selected to compliment the entree choices. Four reds and four whites are also offered each night by the glass.

CV Bar opens daily at noon.

CV Steak serves dinner on Wednesday through Sunday starting at 5 p.m.

The CV Steak Private Room is ideal for private dinner gatherings of 10 - 16 whether for business purposes or a social occasion. This room is also perfect for private and productive meetings, planning sessions, retreats, depositions and focus groups-or, perhaps for some simple refocusing.
