Lampe Park, Gardnerville
To kick off the fishing season bring your pole and camera to experience the greatest fishing of the year. Family activities and concessions will also be present. You must pre-register for this event at the Douglas County Recreation Division, 1327 Waterloo Lane across from Lampe Park. Pre-register early to receive your free fishing derby entry ticket. Spaces are limited. Derby hats, pins and t-shirts will be available for purchase. Prizes will be awarded after each time slot. All proceeds go directly back into the derby. Various times available.
