Carson Valley Rider - Job Description
Carson Valley, Nevada, where the night sky is still lit with stars instead of neon; where seeing the scenery is more important than making “the scene;” where your daily to-do list is shaped by nature, and the “to dos” are about your next adventure. Does that sound like you? Do you like horses?
Then Carson Valley is looking for you.
- A woman who exudes country confidence with an urban edge;
- Must be able to keep a horse between you and the ground. Rodeo skills not necessary, but, we wouldn’t turn you away either;
- Enthusiastic about trying new things and open to adventure;
- Comfortable in front of a camera;
- Authentically friendly and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
We aren’t looking for a decathlete, just someone who can embody the authentic Carson Valley experience. We provide a casual work environment, no cubicles just wide open possibilities, with flexible start times as well as free drinks and snacks. If you are ready to saddle up for the job of a lifetime, your casting call is waiting.
The finalist will receive an all-expense paid outfitted four-night, five-day adventure in the Carson Valley for herself and a guest. She will be featured in videos and promotions filmed on location throughout the Carson Valley through October 2014, and receive perks throughout the year from sponsors like 1862 David Walley’s Hot Springs Resort & Spa, the Carson Valley Inn, Topaz Lodge and Casino, Soaring NV, area ski resorts and J.T. Basque Bar & Dining Room. There will be promotional appearances at least 10 Carson Valley events.
