February 27, 2010 - Soroptimists International of Carson Valley will present its 15th Annual Savor The Flavor event from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Genoa Lakes Golf Resort.

The evening will feature wines and microbrews donated by some of the area's finest wineries and distributors, food tasting from local restaurants and a silent auction.  Additionally, raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each or five tickets for $20.  The winner will receive 100 - $3 pulls on megabucks slot machine at Carson Valley Inn.  Included in the raffle is a two-night stay at the Carson Valley Inn and dinner for two at Fiona's Bar and Grill.

All proceeds from Savor The Flavor benefit local community projects including student scholarships, youth programs, family assistance, environmental and health-related projects.
